Great for a quiet holidays just with the sound of birds in the mornings in an environment of pure clean air. 7 Km from Ponta Delgada City , considered by airb&b 2017 as the most hospitable city in the world-
Near the Populos and Milícias beaches.

Wow! We hesitate to go into too much detail as we would rather this place stay a secret for us to enjoy. But it is too good to keep a secret! My goodness, these guys do a fantastic job of hosting! So friendly! The place itself is more than anyone could ask for. It is so nice, in fact, that we ended up spending a good deal of time meandering the property when we would have been out exploring the island (which is very easily done from this location being centrally located.) The land on which the home is located is rich with wonderful plants both for viewing and for eating! Amazing. The community (Liveramont) is easy to navigate and has a supermarket close by that is open late. Great history at Paulo's (and all over the island) along with beautiful views and friendly people everywhere makes this place a must stay AND a must return!

Paradise within reach

Set in a citrus grove with birdsong and bells tolling, João's place was a revelation--the perfect place to unwind, with easy access to everything on this magical island. We are planning a return visit and will definitely stay here again. It has plenty of amenities within walking distance including a great market and glorious beach. João left us locally made bread, fruit and cheese, making us feel enormously welcome. The space is spotless, and in a historic 18th century building, with a dreamy courtyard and patio. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening glass of vinho verde wine, surrounded by hibiscus and orange trees, and feeling like all is right in the world. Thank you João!
