Wonderful spot!
We loved this place. It was a great home base for our Azorean adventure. We were there in the off season so it was very quiet which suited us just fine. I can imagine it being much more active in the summer which would have been fun, but a different vibe. Sao Miguel is one of the loveliest places on the planet! The Azoreans take such wonderful care of their beautiful island! We will return!

Great location
Great location, beautiful beach on the doorstep. There is a great covered patio that you can enjoy a meal overlooking the ocean. House has everything you need. A great restaurant 30 second walk from the door

One of our favorite places so far!
This is an amazing place and has the perfect combination of character, location, views etc to be a magical stay. Truly one of our favorites so far with amazing views of the ocean, a short walk to the waterfall, close to a restaurant on the beach, and a beautiful cozy home. We highly recommend this place and plan to return there in the future.

Beautiful place!
Exactly as pictured and described. Gorgeous views of the beach and walking distance to trails. Parking at lot slightly up the street was very convenient. Sleepy neighborhood in late September but most amenities still available. Important to note key for entry had to be picked up in Ponta Delgada before traveling to location. Important to make sure the place was completely closed up and locked while out on adventures. Would certainly return.

Hidden Gem
We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming oceanfront property in São Miguel, and it was truly a memorable experience. The space was beautifully designed with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having the ocean right outside our door was nothing short of magical. Overall, this was the perfect getaway, combining tranquility, convenience, and stunning ocean views. We can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best of São Miguel!

Wonderful stay at Casa da Praia
As first-time visitors to São Miguel, we did not know what to expect. Casa da Praia's location for exploring the island and the ocean view from the patio were wonderful surprises. Our host, João, was friendly, quick to respond to our questions, and recommended great local activities and restaurants. Overall, it was a very good experience, and we would book again when returning to the Azores.

Quero expressar minha imensa satisfação com a estadia na casa da praia. A vista é simplesmente espetacular, proporcionando um cenário incrível durante todo o dia. A casa é super acolhedora, e gostei especialmente dos detalhes cuidadosos, como o desumidificador que contribuiu para um ambiente confortável. A presença de dois tipos de aquecimento, seja pela lareira acolhedora ou pelo sistema elétrico, foi uma mais-valia, garantindo que estivéssemos sempre confortáveis, independentemente das condições climáticas. Destaco a atenção aos pormenores que tornaram a estadia ainda mais agradável. Além disso, a disponibilidade do João ao longo da estadia foi incrível. Saber que podíamos contar contigo para qualquer questão proporcionou-nos uma experiência verdadeiramente tranquila e agradável. Adorei a estadia na casa e definitivamente recomendaria a outros viajantes em busca de um refúgio acolhedor com vistas deslumbrantes. Com certeza, estou a planear voltar! Muito obrigado

Beautiful stay in azores
The house was amazing. Perfect location on the azores. Went to bed and woke up every morning to the sound of the ocean. The views were absolutely spectacular with hikes/waterfalls in walking distance.

Nice view
Cozy, clean modestly furnished up/down with nice view of the ocean. Minimal kitchenette with some essentials. Bed up bath down. Great wifi. Tiny tv with Netflix. Good space heaters because winter. Superb bed. Compact bath and shower. Responsive and accommodating host and great checkin. Adequate for a spartan solo traveller. Would return.

My husband and I stayed at Moinhos for 4 nights. The location is fabulous, the check-in super smooth and flexible. The house is perfect for a couple, very secluded and quiet in November. We had a great stay, thank you!

Fantastic beachfront house
We were staying at the house in July (family of 3). João is a super friendly host, communication was very good and the house really lovely: fantastic ocean view terrace, well equipped kitchen, over all: very clean and comfortable. We definitely recommend it!

Cozy with a great view
The house is in a quiet location with a nice beach view and easy beach access. It is a great place to listen to the crashing waves. The beach has lifeguards and was never over crowded. A restaurant is a few steps away and a snack bar is just on the beach. The house is comfortable with all you need to prepare simple meals. We enjoyed our breakfast overlooking the beach. Great place if you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy the beach.
